At this year's CES 2023 conference, TCL brought three new machines such as TCL 40R 5G, TCL 40SE and TCL 408, the market positioning is close to the people, and at the just held MWC 2023 conference, TCL 40 series ushered in three new mobile phones, namely TCL 40 XE 5G, TCL 40 X 5G and TCL 40 XL, continuing the people-friendly strategy, through a more people-friendly price, so that more people can use 5G mobile phones.

TCL 40 XE 5G mobile phone uses a 6.56-inch HD+ screen, supports 90Hz refresh rate, is equipped with a 1300 night pixel main camera, and has a built-in 5000mAh large battery, equipped with Dimensity 700 processor and 4GB + 64GB storage combination, is TCL's first lowest-priced 5G mobile phone.

TCL 40 X 5G mobile phone is equipped with stronger image specifications, the rear is equipped with a 50 million pixel three-camera module, the front is a 90Hz refresh rate of 6.56-inch HD+ screen, also built-in 5000mAh capacity battery, providing 4GB + 64GB storage combination, more inclined to entry-level 5G mobile phone users with certain photography needs.

TCL 40 XL is a 4G mobile phone, the rear is equipped with a 50 million pixel main camera, a 6.75-inch HD+ screen, a built-in 5000mAh battery, equipped with 4GB+128GB storage, and uses TCL's exclusive NXTVISION display enhancement technology to enhance the visual perception of the screen. It is worth mentioning that TCL also released a TCL 406 mobile phone, the price is the lowest among TCL Android 13 system mobile phones.

Prices, TCL 40 XE 5G phones start at $169, TCL 40 X 5G starts at $199, both will go on sale in the United States in June, TCL 40 XL costs $149 and will go on sale in the United States in May, and TCL 406 starts at $119 and has been available in Europe.

As for the NXTURBO graphics rendering enhancement technology mentioned above, display technology has always been TCL's strength. Simply put, NXTURBO image rendering enhancement technology can intelligently learn images through AI, thereby reducing the number of times it is rendered, resulting in a 30% increase in GPU performance and up to 17% energy savings, resulting in smoother screen displays. At the MWC conference, TCL also brought the "Future Paper" eye protection display technology 2.0 (TCL NXTPAPER 2.0), which provides hardware-level low-blue light eye protection function, while increasing the screen brightness to 500 nits, and the screen display effect is clearer in sunlight. It also has an upgraded automatic color temperature adjustment software function, which can match the appropriate color temperature according to the ambient light or time of day, which can reduce eye strain.
