The "unfortunate" ancient tomb in Qufu, Shandong Province, is older than the history of the three holes, but not many people know about it

When it comes to the cultural attractions of Qufu, the first thing that comes to mind is the three-hole scenic spot of Confucius House, Confucius Temple, and Konglin, but in the east of Qufu City, there is an ancient tomb with a history longer than the three holes, but it is little known - Shaohao Mausoleum. After the Song Dynasty, both Jin and Yuan repaired it, burned it in the Ming Dynasty, and then repaired it many times in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Therefore, the Shaohao Tombs we see today are not only historical and cultural sites in the ancient period, but also a result of the joint protection of the sites by multiple dynasties.

The first thing we see is a trapezoidal platform with narrow upper and lower widths, just like the imperial tombs of the Qin and Han Dynasties, which was built up of stones during the Northern Song Dynasty, and has been preserved until today after being protected by successive generations. Because it is made of stones, it is also called "Wanshi Mountain". There is also a small square temple built on the "Wanshi Mountain", the temple is dedicated to Shao Hao, and a stone seated statue of Shao Hao was also created, this small temple has disappeared in the long river of history, and today's small temple is built by posterity according to the imitation of the records.

This is a wordless stele, which is said to be during the Northern Song Dynasty, after the stone stele repair work began, the Jin soldiers went south, and this stone stele was abandoned here before it had time to engrave.
