Recently, when villagers in Dayuanzi Village, Qingcheng Town, Yuzhong County, laid a U-shaped trough water canal, they found a bluestone stele in the passing culvert. After verification by professionals, the inscription shows that the stele was rewarded by Qing Jiaqing, and the owner was Guan Yuanru's grandmother Wei Shi. The Management Committee of Qingcheng Scenic Area immediately led relevant personnel to the scene, simply cleaned up the stone stele and transported it to the Qingcheng Stele Forest for protection.
According to reports, the stele is rectangular, 177 cm long, 77 cm wide and 14 cm thick. It is carved from the bluestone slabs of the local Western Mill of Qingcheng, and is surrounded by extremely fine dragon and phoenix trims. The front of the stele is inscribed with the words "The First Day of the First Lunar Month of the Twenty-fourth Year of Jiaqing", and the words "The Curse of the Curse" are engraved on the left and right. The inscription on the back of the stele is 4 vertical lines and 90 words, the text is clear, the calligraphy is superior, it is a standard pavilion style, the carving is deep, except for a few handwriting, many digital traces are clearly recognizable.
The inscription shows that the stele was rewarded by the emperor and the owner was Guan Yuanru's grandmother Wei Shi. Guan Yuanru (關元儒), courtesy name Liuzhuang, was a native of Qingcheng Sanhepai (Chenghe Village), then known as Zhi County, Xinzheng County, Kaifeng Province, Henan, and was the first jinshi of Qingcheng in the Qing Dynasty. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Mr. Yang Juchuan's "Qingcheng Chronicle and Characters" recorded: "Mr. Guan Yuanru, the word Liuzhuang, the three-in-one card person. Jiaqing Qianji Jinshi. GuanheNan Xinzheng County Zhi County. Successive governors of Huaiqing Province, whose political achievements are unknown. Mr. Good Book Nobunaga. Yu Jiabei Zhishouping plaque wrote a book and produced more books. The writing is qinghua and the calligraphy is neat. However, this is just a gentleman's ear. Other deeds can be imagined. Zixiang, Zhi County, Xiangfu County, Henan. Today, his descendants Sun Shang lived in Huaiqing Province. Fan Yuqin (Zhenxu) asked about it when he was zaijiyuan in the same year. ”
Pu Yuanyuan, director of the Management Committee of Qingcheng Scenic Area in Yuzhong County, said: "The discovery of the monument not only enhances the taste of the Qingcheng Stele Forest, but also enriches the history and culture of Qingcheng, and provides strong historical evidence for the study of the Guan family genealogy, the administrative division of the Qing Dynasty, the imperial examination system, and the inheritance of family style." We will also continue to excavate, search and rescue, sort out and protect the history and culture of Qingcheng, and be the protector, researcher, inheritor and pioneer of Qingcheng history and culture. ”
