Afterwards, Qiu Wei's wife, Tian Chishou, said with emotion: "This respectable public security cadre died in the line of duty, and at this point, this suspicious case can be regarded as closed!" Qiu Wei's body was transported to Beijing, and at 10 a.m. on August 22, a public ceremony was held for Qiu Wei at Jiaxing Temple.
