Lian Po was already old, Lin Xiangru was seriously ill, and Zhao Hao died of illness. There were very few people who could take on great responsibilities, and Zhao Guo fell into a desperate situation.
The Qin army attacked, and the only one who could fight the enemy was the veteran general Lian Po. The two armies clashed many times, and Lian Po was defeated. Lian Po realized that he could not occupy it by force, and could only hold the city and kill the Qin army. As a result, King Xiaocheng of Zhao believed that Lianpo was old and weak, and was afraid of qin, and the state of Qin cleverly made a divisive plan, and soon Lianpo was replaced by Zhao Kuo.
After Zhao Kuo replaced Lianpo, he completely changed the strategic deployment formulated by Lianpo. When Qin Guo saw that Zhao Guo used Zhao Kuo as a general, he secretly activated Bai Qi. Lian Po, enraged by being ostracized, attacked Le Cheng, who fled. Lian Po also left Zhao and defected to the Wei state of Daliang because of this incident.
After Lian Po left, the State of Qin began to attack the State of Zhao again, which was because the King of Zhao remembered Lian Po and wanted to find him back. He sent an emissary to inquire into the state of Lianpo, and as a result, the emissary would not like Lianpo, saying that Lianpo was no longer good. In this way, lianpo in his later years can only be hated for life, and he is finally in a foreign country.
