Seven pairs of classic couplets, sentences to the point of reason, the Tao to life

01

If you don't leave it alone, it's ultimately suffering

Each holds back and becomes famous

This is a pair of broken words, the "if" word "丿", if not left out, is the word "bitter"; the "," of the word "each", kept, is the word "name".

The herringbone has two strokes. A stroke of writing and letting go: powerless things, when broken; lingering obsessions, when giving; feelings of fate and no part, when separated. Stick to it: keep the bottom line when pushing the cup to change the cup, keep the original intention between the hustle and bustle, and keep the principle before the materialistic flow.

Do not calculate, do not compare, do not blindly follow, let go of desires, and keep the bottom line, in order to live a "person" word.

02

Laugh at the past and laugh at the present, laugh at the east, laugh at the west, laugh at the south and laugh at the north,

Laugh and laugh, laugh at your own ignorance.

Look at things and things, look at the sky and look at the earth, look at the sun and the moon,

Looking up and down, looking at others is always high and low.

Su Dongpo once went to visit Wang Anshi, and in the study, he saw a poem that had not yet been written: "The west wind passed through the garden last night, blowing down yellow flowers and full of gold." ”

Su Dongpo laughed at that time, how did a big prime minister not know that the yellow flowers were withered but did not fall petals, so he wrote back two sentences: "Autumn flowers are no better than spring flowers, saying and the poet carefully chanted." ”

Later, Su Dongpo was demoted to Huangzhou, and a friend invited him to enjoy the flowers and drink, and he saw the chrysanthemum petals on the ground and asked in surprise: "Aren't chrysanthemums not falling petals?" ”

A friend said: "Chrysanthemums in other places do not fall petals, but our chrysanthemums in Huangzhou will fall petals." After Su Dongpo listened, he suddenly realized that it was his own ignorance!

Our cognition is like a besieged city, and people trapped in it cannot see the outside world. Many times, the truth we firmly believe in can also be wrong. So every time before evaluating others, learn to examine yourself.

03

He Wujie, Wei Wujie,

The eldest grandson has no scruples, he has no scruples, and er has no scruples

Zhang Xiangru, Lin Xiangru,

Sima is similar, his name is similar, but his reality is not the same

When Yu Qian was 14 years old, he entered Beijing to take the exam, and the chief examiner he met was named Yu Qian, who was homophonous with him. At the time of roll call, the chief examiner called "Yu Qian" three times in a row, and no one answered. When asked why he didn't answer, he said, "I have the same name as the main exam, so I don't dare to answer." ”

The chief examiner said, "He Wujie, Wei Wujie, the eldest grandson, He Wujie, Er Wujie." "None of these three historical celebrities are taboo, so you don't have to be taboo."

Yu Qian listened and calmly replied: "Zhang Xiangru, Lin Xiangru, Sima Xiangru, the name is similar, the reality is not similar." "Although Zhang Xiangru, Lin Xiangru, Sima Xiangru, and the names are all called Xiangru, in fact, I am far worse than you!"

The valuable thing about the chief examiner Yu Qian is that although he is in a high position, he can treat people with humility. The candidate's connotation of humility lies in the fact that he can always maintain humility in front of the teacher.

"Humble gentleman, humble and self-shepherding." To be a human being, the last thing you should have is a sense of identity, and the most important thing you should keep is a humble heart.

Seven pairs of classic couplets, sentences to the point of reason, the Tao to life

04

Make a superior wish, make a medium bond, and enjoy the inferior blessings

Choose a high place to stand, find a flat place to live, and walk to a wide place

This couplet is from the late Qing Dynasty famous general Zuo Zongtang.

We must have lofty ambitions, conform to the opportunities of life, and enjoy a plain life; we must be far-sighted in doing things, be down-to-earth in our lives, and leave room for others.

You can look up at the stars and bury your head in the air. With such a pattern, in the face of a complex situation, we can deal with it calmly and calmly.

05

Good people come half-in-the-dark, and Motu is cheap

The world is often busy and wrong, and it is more relaxed

After a bone-chilling growth, it is true growth. Don't be afraid of mistakes, just be afraid of not doing. The more frustrated and courageous, the more courageous is the correct way to open life.

"When it comes, it is calm, the color is unchanged, especially beyond the reach of ordinary people." Calm mind makes people rational, judges the situation in calm observation, and makes rational judgments, while being wise in a hurry is only to quickly adjust everything irrelevant in the brain to a "silent" state, and suddenly give birth to the wisdom to resolve the crisis.

Stabilize the mood, abandon the clutter, and calm down the breath in order to cope with all difficulties.

06

Think big, start small

Live in groups and keep your mouth shut, live alone and keep your heart

This is one of the most classic couplets of Zeng Guofan.

Don't be ambitious, but be far-sighted; don't be ambitious, but be down-to-earth. "Look at cultivation in the big places, and look at the attitude in the small details", sometimes it is the details that determine success or failure.

The depth of the water is slow, and the language is late. The so-called evil comes out of the mouth, don't ask what you shouldn't ask, don't say what you shouldn't say. Listen attentively, keep the heart, and be able to peek into the leopard and gain insight.

07

There is no easy place in the world, and there is no difficulty in the world

There is fun in life, and there are worries in life

Lao Tzu said, "Where misfortune and blessing depend, where blessings and misfortunes lie." "There is no absolute blessing or misfortune in the affairs of heaven and earth, no absolute good or bad.

In the same way, difficult and easy situations, happy places and worries, are never opposites, but two sides of the same coin. Happy pole gives birth to sorrow, no pole Tai lai, the two are always transforming into each other. People must have a sense of distress, understand their responsibilities, and should not covet pleasure. The so-called "trembling is not forgetting hell when you are born, and you are frank and frank, even in adversity." ”

These couplets, condensing the wisdom of the predecessors, have exhausted the various states of life, and may they bring enlightenment to the kings.
