In 649, a generation of Ming Emperor Li Shimin also came to the end of his life, when three people knelt in front of his bed, one was Li Zhi, that is, the crown prince, his successor, the other was the eldest grandson Wuji, and the other was Chu Suiliang, both of whom were orphan ministers. He is very trusted by Li Shimin.
Li Shimin had a word for the eldest grandson Wuji and Chu Suiliang, saying: "Li Zhi is the heir of benevolence and filial piety, and you two must have a good life to assist him. Li Shimin's second last words were addressed to Li Zhi, who said to Li Zhi: "Eldest Sun Wuji and Chu Suiliang are the talents of the pillars, and with the assistance of the two of them, you will certainly be able to make the Tang Dynasty prosperous." It can be seen that Li Shimin has great trust in the eldest son Wuji and Chu Suiliang, and has no doubt about the ability of the two of them, but this also shows that Li Zhi has no experience and needs assistance.

Li Shimin's first two words of solitude are relatively normal, but when it comes to his third sentence, it seems very strange, even related to the later Wu Zetian, and his third sentence is directed at Chu Suiliang, he said: "I am loyal to me without scruples, I have the world, and I have more strength." I will die, and I will not let the world be slandered. If you think about this sentence carefully, you will find that there are many problems in it. When Li Shimin's third sentence was translated, he said to Zhu Suiliang: "Eldest Sun Wuji is very loyal to me, and the reason why I can manage the world so well is inseparable from his merits. ''Why did Li Shimin say this to Zhu Suiliang, was he worried that Zhu Suiliang would listen to rumors in the future?' Or are you afraid that the two orphan ministers will not be able to work together and assist Li Zhi well?
In fact, Liu Bei's two trusted ministers were also incompatible, Li Yan and Zhuge Liang had a gap between both sides, and later Zhuge Liang advocated the Northern Expedition, but Li Yan did not approve of Zhuge Liang's military policy, and eventually Li Yan was deposed by Zhuge Liang. Could it be that he was worried that Zhu Suiliang wanted to overpower the eldest son Wujie, in fact, it was completely impossible, the eldest grandson Wuji was Li Zhi's uncle, Zhu Suiliang naturally did not dare to compare with him, what did Li Shimin really mean?
Judging from the encounters of the two later ministers, we can see that Li Shimin was well-intentioned, and the final outcome of the eldest son Wujie was exiled by Li Zhi, because he opposed Wu Zetian as empress, Li Zhi listened to the rumors, and eventually forced him to commit suicide, and although Zhu Suiliang's ending was slightly better than that of the eldest son Wujie, he was also degraded by Li Zhi, so it can be seen that the person who really listened to the rumors was Li Zhi.
Therefore, Li Shimin's last words were addressed to Li Zhi, in order to make him careful to slander and not to have a gap with the two orphan ministers. And if Li Zhi understood it, he wouldn't let Wu Zetian have an opportunity to take advantage of it, and then slowly become stronger and take away the Jiangshan as well!
