Here, we briefly introduce Yu Shinan. Yu Shinan (558 – July 11, 638), courtesy name Boshi, was a Han Chinese from Zhejiang. Spanning many eras, he was a famous calligrapher, writer, poet, politician, and one of the twenty-four heroes of Lingyange from the Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Sui and Tang Dynasties.
Emperor Taizong of Tang called him virtuous, loyal, erudite, literate, and scholarly.
