For Lin Zexu's impression, the calligrapher and painter Jun has always stayed in his feat of not fearing power and "selling cigarettes at Humen" for the sake of national righteousness. In fact, he is not only a "national hero" of the mainland, but also a master of calligraphy.

He was diligent in political affairs all his life, and he enjoyed reading, collecting books and the art of calligraphy, and was already well known as early as his youth. According to the record, when he was sent to Ili, "seven carts, carrying twenty books, said: Dongbi Library, West Garden Han molin." Recite poems to hear about national politics, and talk about the heavenly heart. The rest of the gongqing asked for the book Aya silk rice paper also." This is to say that when Lin Zexu ascended to the journey, he loaded seven carts of books, each of which was numbered with one word in the poem "East", "Wall", "Figure", "Book", and "Fu", a total of twenty boxes, and the rest were rice paper silk for calligraphy.

After he arrived in Ili, because of his relatively leisurely political affairs, he was able to indulge in calligraphy and strive for it from near and far, and within a few days he had written out the silk he had brought with him. His calligraphy sect Tang Ren Kaishu, especially the Tang Dynasty Ouyang Qing's "Jiucheng Gong Liquan Ming" known as Fangzheng, as the norm for Linchi learning books, diligently experienced copying, good at kai and writing, elegant and energetic, and the wind god flew.

His Xiaokai "Orchid Pavilion Preface" has the legacy of Ouyang Gong. The surviving "Linmi Fu Zhong ti" and "Lin Ze Xu Lin Emperor Fu Jun Monument" have a kind of grand righteousness, and the words reveal his iron bones, showing his deep love for the motherland.
