Huzhou, February 5 (Shi Zinan, Zhang Bin) reporters learned on the 5th that Shuanglin Aya silk, which was selected as the product of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, was selected as a product of the "Second Batch of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection List". Walking into Huzhou Yunhe Shuanglin Silk Co., Ltd., located in Shuanglin Town, Nanxun District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, Zheng Xiaohua, the inheritor of "Shuanglin Silk Weaving Technique", unveiled the real use of this batch of Winter Olympic silk.

Zheng Xiaohua took out from the sample room a sample of Aya silk cloth with a length of about 40 cm and a width of about 30 cm, which is mainly used for the award certificates of the winning athletes of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, and the background color is divided into gold, silver and copper. "Since 2021, our factory has specially organized the 'Winter Olympic Silk' production team and 5-person quality inspection team to ensure that the production task of winter Olympic silk is completed on time, with quality and quantity." Zheng Xiaohua said.

Among the traditional Chinese silk fabrics - Aya, Luo, Silk and Satin, Aya silk ranks first. Shuanglin silk has a long history of production, known as the "flower of oriental silk weaving craftsmanship", and is famous for being "as light as morning mist, as thin as cicada wings".

According to the carbonized silk excavated at the Qianshan Yang Neolithic site near Shuanglin, the production of Shuanglin silk has a history of more than 4,700 years. Today, shuanglin aya silk weaving technology is a national intangible cultural heritage, and it has been included in the first batch of national traditional craft revitalization catalog.

As the inheritor of the "Shuanglin Silk Weaving Technique" in Zhejiang Province, Zheng Xiaohua has been in the industry for 41 years.

Talking about why Shuanglin Aya silk was selected as the material for the winter Olympic award certificate, Zheng Xiaohua laughed, "The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games award certificate used our products, and the organizers first thought of us, and the two sides can be described as a one-shot deal." ”

In Zheng Xiaohua's memory, Shuanglin Aya silk has "gone out of the circle" three times.

In 1978, the antique silk produced by Shuanglin Aya Silk Factory "walked" into the Palace Museum, and later "walked" into the British Museum, cleveland Museum, Washington Museum, etc.; in 2008, Shuanglin Aya silk was used as one of the raw materials for the Beijing Olympic Games certificate.

The most recent "out of the circle" is this year, with the dance drama "Only This Green" on the stage of the "National Treasure Exhibition Season", Shuanglin Aya silk is once again recognized by the public.

Seven years ago, Zheng Xiaohua's daughter Zheng Yifei returned to her hometown to inherit her father's silk weaving skills, expanded sales channels such as private customization through the Internet, and combined with the development of the cultural and creative industry, developed better painting, mounting silk, and expanded to the fields of decorative arts.

Nowadays, under the insistence of generations of inheritors, the application range of Shuanglin Aya silk is getting wider and wider.

In the past, silk could be used as a substitute for paper painting and ink, and Aya was used as a framed calligraphy and painting. Nowadays, Aya silk can also make theatrical costumes, table lamps, screens, kites, silk flowers and other arts and crafts, and gradually moved from book cases to the daily life of ordinary people. This fading millennia-old traditional craft has also once again shined. (End)
