Lin Zexu Memorial Hall is located in the famous Chinese historical and cultural street "Three Lanes and Seven Alleys", located at No. 16, Macao Road, Gulou District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. In 1905, 55 years after Lin Zexu's death, the descendants of the Lin family and the disciples raised funds to build the Lin Wenzhong Ancestral Hall here to commemorate this national hero.
Three stone steles are erected in the Imperial Tablet Pavilion, and the finished characters are arranged, which is a metaphor for Lin Zexu's heavy pillar stone in his life, so as to express his recognition and respect for his noble character and heavy responsibility.
On the west side of the ancestral hall is the north and south flower hall, Yunzuo Pavilion, there are fish ponds, rockeries, flowers and trees, pavilions and corridors, ancient wells in front of the attic, it is an exquisite Jiangnan garden courtyard.
Lin Zexu's unswerving patriotic spirit, the national righteousness that runs through Changhong, and the noble demeanor of honesty and integrity will be inherited for generations to come with the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall.

Among the exhibits are Lin Zexu's handwritten couplets, strip screens, vertical banners, and other cultural relics, as well as seals, residual ink, seal boxes, political book engravings and other relics that he used. In addition to these, you can also get a glimpse of the famous "Humen Cigarette Sales" scene expressed in high-tech multimedia presentations.
Lin Zexu Memorial Hall not only has profound cultural and historical value, but also is a masterpiece of architecture. Walking into this place, the ancestral hall, the flower hall, the curved ruler building, and the garden are displayed in front of the visitors one by one, telling everyone the charm of the integration of typical ancestral hall buildings and garden buildings in the late Qing Dynasty.
