A video posted on YouTube by blogger Jrcraft shows that Windows 11 correctly recognizes a 5.25-inch floppy disk and can read its contents as it does on Windows XP, with only one image saved inside due to the small space on the floppy disk.

IT House understands that while floppy disks are rarely used today, this is very useful for the recovery and preservation of some ancient data, giving users as direct access to their files and data as possible.

Of course, the challenge is how to find a motherboard that supports floppy disks, and how to get Windows 11 support to run on that motherboard.
