Zhu Yunming (1461-1527), the character Xizhe, a native of Changzhou (present-day Wu County, Jiangsu), laughed at himself because of his peculiar appearance, and because he had branches and fingers on his right hand, he called himself Zhishan, and was known as "Zhu Jingzhao" in the world.
Zhu Yunming is good at poetry, especially calligraphy, and famous in Hainei. Together with Tang Yin, Wen Zhengming, and Xu Zhenqing, he was called the "Four Talents of Wu Zhong". Together with Wen Zhengming and Wang Pet, he was also a representative of the mid-Ming dynasty scholars. The main achievements of Zhu Yunming's calligraphy are wild grass and calligraphy.
