Ming Dynasty calligrapher Wang Pet Xiaokai admired the Seven Chapters of the South China True Classic, the YayishanRen Book of the Eleventh Year of Zhengde (1516).

Wang Pet (王宠), courtesy name Luren (履仁) and Lu Ji (履吉), was a native of Yayishan and Wu County (now part of Suzhou, Jiangsu). For the sake of Yi Zhusheng, Gong into Taixue.
