Fu Zuoyi was originally an important general under Lao Jiang, who once won the highest honor medal of the Nationalist Army and held 400,000 troops. While Fu Zuoyi was still in the ranks of the nationalist army, Fu Zuoyi's daughter had quietly sided with justice. The daughter repeatedly persuaded her father, Fu Zuoyi, to eventually revolt, making an important contribution to the peaceful liberation of Peiping.
In 1924, Fu Zuoyi's daughter Fu Dongju was born in Taiyuan and was the eldest of Fu Zuoyi's children. When the September 18 Incident broke out, Fu Zuoyi was ordered to resist the Japanese army in danger, but after the Japanese army invaded China in an all-round way, Fu Zuoyi's troops suffered a heavy blow.

In 1941, at the age of 15, Fu Dongju was transferred to the rear area of Chongqing and enrolled in middle school at Chongqing Nankai Middle School. Many of her classmates are descendants of Old Jiang. When she was a student, she met Premier Zhou, who repeatedly gave speeches at the school, and Fu Dongju was deeply influenced by Marxist thought.
The following year, Fu Dongju was admitted to the Southwest United University and became a journalist after graduation. In 1948, Fu Zuoyi led troops to defend Peiping, and after the Battle of Pingjin began, Fu Dongju found his father and told his father that the people of Beiping wanted peace the most. Under the influence of his daughter, Fu Zuoyi negotiated with the People's Liberation Army and finally chose to revolt. Fu Dongju made a great contribution to the liberation of Peiping.
Fu Dongju had a crucial influence on Fu Zuoyi's uprising, and she was also a hero in the liberation of Peiping, she could have become an official, but she chose to work hard as a journalist.
As the editor of Progress Daily, Fu Dongju repeatedly reported on the war situation on the front line, and later she transferred to the People's Daily and was transferred to Hong Kong's Xinhua News Agency in 1982. In 1995, Fu Dongju retired, but she still cared about the people. After retiring, she lived frugally, taking out her savings to build Hope Elementary School and helping poor students until her death in 2007.
If Fu Zuoyi, who was heavily armed at that time, did not negotiate with the People's Liberation Army and Peiping did not have a peaceful liberation, the price that would be paid would be tragic, and the people would once again be in dire straits.
Fu Dongju is well aware of the great righteousness, knows that the tide of history will eventually turn to the side of justice, and she has shown the demeanor of the older generation of revolutionaries with her own practical actions; although she did not go to the battlefield, her words and deeds showed the enthusiasm and thoughts of the revolution.
