Just like the title and cover, some time ago we found three cars, namely the Weipai Mocha equipped with noH (beta version), the Tesla Model 3 equipped with EAP, and the Xiaopeng P7 equipped with NGP, and did a test on intelligent driving.
During the day's experience, I chose the safest way to find a ring road, which contains the city expressway and the highway section, and drove three cars on this section of the road to experience the actual performance of EAP, NGP and NOH.
First of all, it is clearly defined that the biggest difference between intelligent driving assistance systems such as EAP, NGP, and NOH from other L2-level or L2+ assisted driving systems is that they can not only achieve active lane change, overtaking and other functions, but also automatically enter and exit ramps according to map navigation.
So on high speeds or urban elevated roads, such intelligent driver assistance systems can indeed bring us close to the experience of automatic driving. However, they are still assisted driving, not really automatic driving, so everyone still needs to maintain the control of the vehicle and the observation of road conditions when using them.
Then in the number of takeovers that everyone is most concerned about, in addition to special circumstances such as entering and leaving the toll booth, traffic jam or encountering accident cars, the EAP has 2 takeovers, or more accurately, in the AP state, once because the ground lane line is not clear, and once because of the encounter with the rear traffic.
Xiaopeng's NGP has taken over 3 times, once in the L2 assisted driving state and twice in the NGP state, all because there are social vehicles approaching the ramps or lanes on both sides. The NOH performance was actually the best of the three, and there was no active withdrawal in the whole process.
However, because the road conditions are different each time, the above information can only be used for reference. However, it is not difficult to find that because of the lack of high-precision maps, Tesla's EAP will be very struggling when encountering unclear lane lines, and even "drawing dragons" in the lanes. And in the experience, the EAP also had a solid line change of lane.
In addition to the NGP will have some struggles when encountering an oncoming car with two sides approaching quickly, the rest of the situation is actually OK. Although there are many small cases, such as the lever lane change function in the L2 level auxiliary driving state has the minimum speed limit for starting, and the auxiliary driving cannot be opened when facing a medium curvature ramp.
The performance of noh should be considered the most stable of the three, and there will be basically no situation under normal road conditions. Although on the final return trip, due to the serious congestion, the system could not change lanes normally, so I could only take the initiative to take over. Of course, when driving in the North Sixth Ring Road, noH, like EAP, also has a situation of achieving lane change.
As for the experience, NGP is undoubtedly the best of the three, not only in terms of function, but also in the way of prompting, especially compared to EAP, NGP will be more humane.
And noH's performance is almost in line with the NGP. Functionally, noH also has the setting of avoiding large cars. And when approaching the upper ramp, NOH will choose to stay away from the rightmost lane, thus avoiding the confluence with the social vehicles that appear on the upper ramp to the greatest extent, ensuring a safe and stable driving process. In addition, when noh changes lanes, once it is detected that there are social vehicles approaching quickly behind, it will also cancel lane changes in time to ensure the safety of driving.
Of course, in the voice or interface prompts, the CURRENT NOH really cannot reach the NGP experience. For example, because of the engine version problem, the NOH I use is delayed in voice prompts and vehicle operations, and the vehicle may have begun to change lanes, and the voice has begun to prompt.
At the same time, on the interface prompt, the NOH at this stage has only a small icon, and the color change of the small icon tells me whether the vehicle is in the NOH state.
However, at present, the official version of noh has also been launched, and everyone has the opportunity to experience a more perfect official version of NOH.

It is believed that in 2022, the distance between NOH, EAP and NGP will be further shortened in terms of loading volume and mileage. As far as the current experience is concerned, noH is indeed quite surprising.
And noH will not only be installed on the models of Wei brand or tank brand, but also the rest of the Great Wall Group's models and even other brands will use NOH in the future. It is said that within three years, the noh can reach 1 million units, a speed that the new power brands cannot match.
Therefore, with the increase of users, NOH will continue to improve, and intelligent assisted driving may also become the reason for everyone to choose the Great Wall brand in the future.
