Under The "shock" of Li Da'an, many people who were not firm in their will betrayed and defected to the enemy and became Li Da'an's minions and accomplices. Not only that, but the UN army saw that Li Daan treated our volunteer prisoners in this way, and they had a very "appetite" for them, so they gave Li Daan a lot of "good ideas."
One of them was the idea of intimidating and luring prisoners to Taiwan, that is, in order to make the volunteer soldiers completely lose hope of returning to the motherland, they simply tattooed on their bodies reactionary slogans such as "Kill Zhu Plucking Hair," "Blue Sky and White Sun," and "Anti-Communism and Anti-Russia," so that they would not dare to go back.
Li Daan nodded after listening to the chicken pecking rice, and immediately went to execute. However, he did not blindly serve the pot, but treated prisoners of war differently, and for communists, Li Daan showed no mercy, but for Huangpu high-quality students like Zhang Wenrong, he always held the mentality of co-opting and adopted a policy of gentleness.

The Party organizations also took advantage of this "position" to vigorously protect the captured volunteer soldiers of our Party, and even in order to protect some important Party members and cadres, the organization arranged for them to serve as clerks, interpreters, or small and medium-sized leaders to avoid the attention of the enemy.
Of course, the organization did not sit still in the prisoner-of-war camp, they were still looking for an opportunity to escape, and they used their positions to find an opportunity to strike at the enemy.
Once, the comrades of the prisoner-of-war camp found an opportunity to burn down the U.S. military materiel warehouse in the prisoner of war camp.
