Although the core famine has affected the global automotive industry, the sales of imported cars in China in November were strong. In the top ten models of SUV and sedan sales, both year-on-year and month-on-month, it is up and down.
According to the statistics of the number of domestic new car traffic insurance purchases, 8 of the top 10 models in imported SUV sales in November rose year-on-year and month-on-month, accounting for 80%, and only two models fell year-on-year and month-on-month. And models with year-on-year and quarter-on-month growth of more than double digits accounted for half. Among them, the model with the largest year-on-year increase was Mercedes-Benz GLE, up to 36.58%; the model with the largest increase in the chain was range rover, with an increase of 101.83%.
The sales performance of cars was better than that of the same period last year. Among the top ten models, only one Model of Mercedes-Benz GLA fell month-on-month, and the rest rose, with an increase of more than 40% of the models as many as seven models, and the largest increase model was the Maybach S, with an increase of up to 159.2%. In the year-on-year growth rate, three models fell negatively, and the rest rose. Both bmw 4 Series and Audi A5 models saw gains of more than 90 percent.
The market performance of the top 10 imported SUVs and sedans in November is not a substitute for all imported cars, but they are important representatives of the car market. It can also be seen that the lack of cores does not seem to have a large impact on imported cars, and the global chip shortage that has occurred before may have begun to ease.
If you look at the entire imported car market for SUVs and sedans in November, it is also a significant improvement compared with October. Among the 61 imported SUVs in statistics, 30 models saw a month-on-month decline in sales in November, accounting for 49.2%; 20 models fell year-on-year, accounting for 32.8%, but the proportion of month-on-month declines in October was as high as 75.8%, accounting for 32.3% of the year-on-year decline. Among the 85 imported cars, 33 models saw a month-on-month decline in sales, accounting for only 38.8%, and 24 models fell year-on-year, accounting for 28.2% year-on-year decline. Last month's car decline was 73.5% month-on-month, and the year-on-year decline was 28.9%. In other words, the proportion of imported SUVs and cars in the overall market in November was basically flat compared with the year-on-year decline in October, but the proportion of month-on-month growth increased by about double.
In terms of volume, the proportion of the entire imported car sales in the domestic car market is not large, but some consumer groups that love the original taste are fond of imported cars. Judging from the above data, the consumer demand of this group in November was relatively strong, and the demand for the top ten models was generally strong and more popular with consumers.
