It is understood that the Shenwo Bus provides 5 hydrogen fuel cell buses for Jiading Bus, Jinshan Bus and Fengxian Bus each, which is also the largest batch of hydrogen fuel cell buses delivered in Shanghai so far. The batch of vehicles adopts the "P390" hydrogen fuel cell system equipped with SAIC Jie Hydrogen on the ninth series platform of Shenwo Bus, which won the first prize of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award in 2021, with less noise and lower energy consumption.
The fuel cell road of Shenwo Bus began in 2006 with the "National 863 Fuel Cell Bus Prototype Development Project", and in 2010, six hydrogen fuel cell buses developed for the Shanghai World Expo were put into demonstration operation, giving birth to Shanghai's first hydrogen fuel bus line. Then in 2018, the third phase of the UNDP-led demonstration operation project achieved full-working bus operation for the first time.
At present, these hydrogen fuel city buses, with the help of SAIC's superior strength, are newly built, integrating intelligence, networking, informatization and barrier-free. The use of a new generation of high-power proton exchange membrane hydrogen fuel cell stack and soda separator + hydrogen circulation pump architecture, improve the hydrogen utilization rate and reduce the concentration of tail exhaust hydrogen, improve the fuel cell system power density and system power, increase the vehicle mileage, and save 5%-8% of hydrogen costs compared with the previous generation of products 100 kilometers.

Hydrogen fuel cell city buses have more excellent performance in the actual operation process, one is faster hydrogen filling, hydrogen fuel refueling is about 15 minutes, compared with the 3-4 hours charging time of electric vehicles, there is a significant reduction, effectively improving operational efficiency, reducing mileage anxiety; the second is not afraid of severe cold, can achieve minus 30 ° C low temperature start. At the same time, hydrogen fuel cell city buses have more advantages than pure electric city buses in terms of vehicle station construction costs, vehicle convenience, vehicle post-processing costs and environmental protection.
