Recently, Shanghai Annaxin Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Annaxin), a high-tech enterprise in the field of domestic automotive chips, settled in Anting and plans to start construction in the first quarter of 2022, which will also become the first automotive chip innovation center in the region.
Xie Zhifeng, the relevant person in charge of the company, introduced that Annaxin plans to invest 800 million yuan in Anting to build an automotive chip innovation center, and set up a 12-inch industrial control-level memory packaging and test line (with a production capacity of 120,000 wafers / year) and 8 module production lines.
"In the early stage, we will focus on the processing of the later links in the production process of automotive chips, provide vehicle-grade chip packaging and testing services, and in the long term we will complete the closed-loop industrial chain of automotive chips from research and development to production and sales." Xie Zhifeng said.
At present, Annaxin is discussing a construction plan with Anting United Investment Company, using 33 acres of vacant land at No. 100 Zotye Road to jointly build an innovation center and plant.
According to reports, the project planned construction area of more than 40,000 square meters, after completion, is expected to achieve revenue of 2.5 billion yuan in 2025, and plans to start the listing work in 2026.
It is reported that Anting Town is stepping up the collection and storage of resources, actively laying out automotive chip enterprises, and creating an automotive chip industrial park manufacturing packaging and testing supporting area, and 20 related enterprises have been settled and discussed. In addition to the introduced Anna core project, it is also planned to introduce the "Shanghai Automotive Chip Test and Certification Platform" to build a leading domestic vehicle-grade chip design, development and manufacturing base, and plans to build an 8-inch automotive chip mass production line with a total investment of 15 billion yuan.
