The big guys of the major car companies are not idle, and Li Shufu and Wang Fengying also expressed their views on the future of the car. Li Yanhong, Zhou Hongyi, Lei Jun, these Internet giants, have now entered the automotive industry and are also actively offering suggestions.

(1) Wang Fengying of the Great Wall, left hand to make batteries, right hand to make chips
Wang Fengying is the most representative figure in front of the Great Wall in the past 30 years, and as the president of the company, she is even higher than the appearance rate of Wei Jianjun, the chairman of the Great Wall, in many cases. As a deputy to the 3rd National People's Congress, this is also her 15th participation in the National People's Congress.
This time, she brought three proposals, namely to promote the development of domestic chips, promote the application of thermal runaway protection technology for power batteries, and promote the utilization rate of the automobile industry.
First of all, she mentioned that the design threshold of vehicle-grade chips is high, the research and development cycle is long, and the capital investment is large, but the profit is not high. Before the epidemic, the price of a single film was only 1 to 3 US dollars, and the market size was not large. Although the price of vehicle-grade chips has soared in recent times, domestic companies have not dared to intervene, because once the epidemic dissipates and the supply recovers, the domestic vehicle-grade chip companies that have just developed at that time will be directly dumped, and huge investments will be adrift.
Wang Fengying feels that the problem should be solved in three steps, the first is to give priority to solving the problem of "lack of core" in the short term, the state maintains the system layout and supply order, and gives the green light to the manufacturing enterprises that expand production and put into production chips to quickly alleviate the urgent needs of the automotive industry. Then it is the national overall planning to lead the formulation of 5-10 years of vehicle-grade chip industry development plan, while building a training and introduction mechanism for industrial talents, only by implementing the talent gradient construction, can we truly achieve industrial structure upgrading.
The thermal runaway protection technology of power batteries mentioned by Wang Fengying is considered to be the last line of defense for new energy vehicles. For example, the Dayu battery of the Great Wall is to quickly discharge the heat through the way of "blocking is not as good as thinning" to avoid the battery heat runaway. However, Wang Fengying believes that it is difficult to quickly promote the strength of only a few enterprises, and it is necessary to carry out top-level planning at the national level and list the thermal runaway protection technology of power batteries as a necessary technology for leaving the factory.
This includes replacing power batteries equipped with related technologies for models on the existing market, and establishing an exit mechanism for old new energy vehicles to improve driving safety.
In addition, Wang Fengying also mentioned the problem of overcapacity of new energy vehicles, many places "heavy attraction, light supervision", so that high-quality production capacity appears large-scale idle, the current domestic light vehicle capacity utilization rate is only 52%, and many places are still engaged in capacity expansion, resulting in a lot of waste.

(2) Geely Li Shufu, to change the power station platform, insist on advocating methanol vehicles
A while ago, Geely and Lifan jointly established Ruilan Automobile, as a new "power exchange travel brand" to enter the market, and launched the first intelligent power exchange model Maple Leaf 60S. At the "two sessions", Li Shufu also highlighted the construction of the power exchange system.
Li Shufu highlighted several aspects, the first is to speed up the relevant construction approval, the construction of the power exchange system into the national market management standard system, especially to optimize the power exchange project high-voltage new installation (capacity increase) approval process, which is the current pain point of the construction of the power exchange station. In fact, it is necessary to separate the car and the battery under the separation of vehicle electricity and certification, and establish a perfect traceability system. The second is to develop the standard of the battery pack for power exchange, and at the same time promote the standardization and generalization of the power exchange mode.

It is worth mentioning that Geely's methanol vehicle research and development and application was also shortlisted for the special prize of the jury of the second "China Automotive Storm Ceremony", along with Chery's Kunpeng 2.0TGDI super power, Great Wall's intelligent wire control chassis, etc., which shows that Geely's methanol vehicle technology content is still quite high.
(3) Internet companies have crossed borders, who can break through first?
Many Internet bigwigs also attended the "two sessions", but they did not mention the development of the Internet industry, but they gave suggestions for the development of smart cars.
Lei Jun proposed to establish a perfect carbon footprint accounting system to manage the carbon footprint of the entire industrial chain from raw materials to scrap recycling. In his view, the establishment of a sound set of carbon footprint certification, rating and incentive mechanism will greatly stimulate the enthusiasm of enterprises and consumers to promote carbon neutrality.
In addition, Lei Jun also mentioned that the proportion of fast charging of public charging piles in the mainland is too small, the queue time is long, the charging speed is slow, and the turnover efficiency is low, which seriously drags down social efficiency. He suggested that the state quickly formulate a new generation of high-power fast charging network planning programs, and strengthen the research of a new generation of high-power fast charging technology.
Zhou Hongyi, chairman of 360 Group, mentioned the safety of intelligent and connected vehicles, and he believes that a set of "digital space crash test" mechanism should be established. The 360 Internet of Vehicles Security Lab has done tests, and they can easily control all kinds of smart cars on sale through cloud vulnerabilities, and even open and close doors and start the engine, which can be achieved, which is a huge risk.
In Zhou Hongyi's view, if the intelligent networked car needs to maintain a safe state during driving, it is necessary to establish a set of perception system with the car safety brain as the core.
Robin Li, who has been focusing on unmanned driving, also brought proposals, he proposed that he hopes that the state can create a pilot zone for the operation policy of all-unmanned autonomous vehicles, where self-driving cars without safety officers can be on the road. At the same time, the development of relevant laws, the entry rules for L4 autonomous vehicles, and the issuance of official license plates for related vehicles should also be accelerated.
He also proposed to promote vehicle-road coordination and 5G remote control to improve traffic efficiency and safety, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the automotive industry to networking and intelligence.
