A few days ago, Xiaobian learned from Shanghai Chujue Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. that its parent company, Chuhang Technology, a leading domestic millimeter-wave radar company, has completed a series B financing exclusively led by Genesis Partner Capital (CCV), and as of now, a total of nearly 300 million yuan of financing has been completed. This round of financing will help the company build an industrial park integrating R&D, design, manufacturing and marketing services in Jiading, further lay out the application of millimeter-wave radar in the fields of automatic driving, intelligent transportation, vehicle-road collaboration, smart security and robot autonomous driving, and help Jiading innovate and develop in the field of automotive intelligent parts.

It is understood that the production base of the autonomous driving mass production project of Shanghai Chucuo Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. based on 77 gigahertz millimeter wave radar has now started construction in Anting. The project covers an area of about 13 acres, with a proposed construction area of 17,316 square meters, an estimated total investment of 250 million yuan, and a construction period of 12 months. It will be put into production within 6 months after completion and within 12 months, and the annual output value is expected to be 500 million yuan after reaching production.
According to the relevant person in charge of Chuju Technology, the company will build a factory with 8-12 radar production lines in the future, and the sales and research and development departments will also settle in Anting. After production, the annual production capacity of radar will exceed 5 million.
It is reported that Chuhang Technology is one of the few companies in China with the core research and development technology, complete design capabilities and experience data accumulation of on-board millimeter wave radar sensors, breaking the monopoly position of overseas giants and helping domestic car companies and autonomous driving companies to no longer rely on imports. Relying on its core R&D capabilities and far ahead of the commercialization progress, Chuhang is expected to become the leader of domestic vehicle-mounted millimeter wave radar.
