He was a famous anti-Japanese general of the Nationalist Army, and was admitted to the German Military Academy with the first result, and became famous in the Kunlun Pass Victory
In modern history, many people will think of Wang Jinshan, the prototype of Li Yunlong in "Bright Sword", who has a nickname called "Wang Madman", he is very brave in fighting, and the tactics are varied, causing heavy losses to the Japanese army many times. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, there was also a general in the Nationalist army nicknamed "Madman", who was Qiu Qingquan.
What needs to be explained is that unlike Li Yunlong, who has a rough appearance and is illiterate in large characters, Qiu Qingquan is quite literary in peacetime, often writing some ornate poems that are widely praised among soldiers. At the same time, he was proficient in English and German, and he was also able to write military works, and he himself wrote a "secret" to defeat the military generals of our army.

It is precisely because of his behavior that he is regarded as a Confucian general in the national army, like a "madman" when fighting, and he is very polite in life, and a person has two extreme manifestations, which is a strange phenomenon in the national army. Before entering the Whampoa Military Academy, Qiu Qingquan was already a high-achieving student at Shanghai University, and his president was the famous Yu Youren.
Qiu Qingquan believed that Wen could not save China, so after coming out of Shanghai University, he abandoned Wen to join the army and was admitted to the second phase of the Whampoa Military Academy. After graduating from Huangpu, he participated in many battles such as the National Revolutionary Army's Eastern Expedition, the Northern Expedition, and the Central Plains War, and was later admitted to the Berlin Army University in Germany with the first place, and later entered the German Army University for further study.
After returning from Germany, the Nationalist army was forming a modern mechanical unit, at that time Xu Tingyao was the commander, the famous Du Yuming was the deputy commander, Qiu Qingquan became the commander of the newly organized 22nd Division, and the commanders of the other two divisions were also famous generals of the Nationalist Army.
Qiu Qingquan played a key role in this battle, and his troops marched the fastest, being the first Chinese to arrive at Kunlun Pass, and then he launched a surprise attack on the Japanese army. Although he was the commander of the division, he personally entered the battle during the battle and rushed to the front, which greatly boosted the morale of the soldiers.
After several difficult and bloody battles with the Japanese army, Qiu Qingquan firmly controlled Liutang, cutting off the retreat of the Japanese army and laying the foundation for the great victory of Kunlun Pass. However, the Japanese army was still preparing to retake Liutang, so it planted an ambush in Wutang, who expected that Qiu Qingquan used the Japanese army to fight in Wutang, and introduced the Japanese army into the ambush circle of our army, eliminating all the Japanese troops who were trailing.
Then Qiu Qingquan rushed back to Kunlun Pass without stopping, and together with his brother troops, surrounded and annihilated the Japanese Fifth Division, eliminated thousands of Japanese troops, including Japanese Army Major General Masao Nakamura, and won the Kunlun Pass Victory that shocked China and foreign countries. After the end of this battle, the Nationalist government awarded Qiu Qingquan the Baoding Medal of the Fourth Class and promoted him to deputy commander of the Fifth Army.
It is because of the brave performance in the Kunlun Guan's great victory that people have given Qiu Qingquan a nickname, called "Qiu Crazy".
