The premiere of the acrobatic drama "Liang Zhu" integrates various cultural elements to carry forward the spirit of the Han Dynasty

Recently, funded by the Lottery Public Welfare Fund and the National Arts Fund, the Publicity Department of jining Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism focused on creating, and the large-scale acrobatic drama "Liang Zhu" created by Jining Acrobatic Troupe was premiered at the Jining Acrobatic City Tategawa Grand Theater.

The whole drama revolves around the growth and love of the two main characters of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, narrates in the language of acrobatic ontology, and sets up the dramatic actions of the characters in the play not only conforms to the internal logic of character development, but also takes into account the use of acrobatic techniques to complete the character description. Between drama and technique, we look for connection points that can achieve dramatic expression and skill presentation, give full play to the artistic charm of the acrobatic body, and improve the emotional experience tension brought by acrobatic performances to the audience.

In Jining, Shandong Province, Liang Zhu is not only one of the four well-known love stories in China, but also selected as a national intangible cultural heritage project because of the unique and authentic Liang Zhu story circulating in this land. Based on the regional characteristics of the hometown of Kong Meng, the acrobatic drama "Liang Zhu" takes han culture as the starting point, and takes the excavated cultural relics and the surviving rural customs as the basis, perfectly integrates various cultural elements with the liang zhu stories circulated in Jining to create the artistic structure of "Jining Liang Zhu". At the same time, from the perspective of Confucian culture, it shows the legendary love process of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, highlights regional characteristics, carries forward the spirit of the Han Dynasty, and expands the historicity and profundity of Liangzhu culture.

After the performance, the expert symposium on the premiere of "Liang Zhu" was held, and more than 40 people, including relevant experts of the National Arts Fund, relevant responsible comrades of the Jining Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the main creators and main actors of the play, conducted professional analysis and discussion of the play. According to reports, after the acrobatic drama "Liang Zhu" held five performances at the Tategawa Grand Theatre, it will also launch the tour through online and offline means.
