Eighteen-storey teaching building
The main teaching building of Shangyin, the Department of Composition and Conducting, the Department of Piano, the Department of Orchestra, the Department of Folk Music, the Department of Musicology, the Department of Vocal Opera, the Department of Music Education, the Department of Music and Drama, and the Department of Art Management are all concentrated in this building.

He Luting Concert Hall
It was completed in 2003, adjacent to the old office building, and was originally part of the Shanghai Jewish Club. The stage covers an area of 110 square meters and can accommodate a three-pipe orchestra with 766 seats.
Upper Tone Opera House
In 2019, it opened its doors to guests, with 1200-seat opera halls, 4 rehearsal halls for opera, orchestra, vocal music and folk music services, and 1 professional academic lecture hall. Floating on 95 springs, the theater is the first fully floating structure opera house built with integral vibration isolation technology in China, and it is also the first theater in China to install a subtitle machine on the back of the seat.
