The Lujiazui Voice Singing Contest has been successfully held for two sessions, which has not only discovered many talented talents from various industries with musical talents, but also become an important platform to show the charm of regional culture and promote cultural exchanges. Recently, the first preliminary round (audition) of the 3rd Lujiazui Voice Singing Contest was held in the sunken square of L+Mall in Lujiazui Center.
The sunken plaza was filled early by the audience. Among the audience, most of them are parent-child families who come here to spend their leisure time, and office workers who are looking for food after work. 12 white-collar players who love to sing took the stage in turn, and the surprising stage performance made these audiences who accidentally stepped into the music scene spontaneously become the "temporary family and friend group" of each contestant, and the light sticks in their hands gently waved along with the melody, and at the end of each song, applause and cheers poured like a tide, setting off the whole scene like a concert.
Anna from Russia is a graduate student at Wai Chinese University in Shanghai, where she studied violin and loves music, and is currently working as a part-time translator in Lujiazui. "Lujiazui is very much like New York, there are a lot of international friends here, and I like it very much." In this competition, Anna chose a classic Chinese song "Blown by the Cold Wind for You and Me" that once moved her, and her classmates also came to the scene to cheer for her.
The Uyghur girl Gulimi warmed up in traditional national costumes, and the song skillfully blended Uyghur and Chinese, presenting strong ethnic characteristics and modern urban atmosphere. "The competition has allowed me to meet a lot of new friends, understand Lujiazui better, and like Lujiazui more!" Gulmire is currently interning at an advertising agency in Lujiazui, and her special experience in the competition makes her look forward to starting her career in Lujiazui.
The competition is guided by the Shanghai Pudong New Area Federation of Trade Unions and the Lujiazui Administration of Shanghai Free Trade Zone, and hosted by the Federation of Trade Unions of Shanghai Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone. Although the first preliminary round has just been held, the cohesion and centripetal force of "The Voice of Lujiazui" as a mature cultural brand of the financial city have been shown - the preliminary stage will last for nearly one month, and 20 buildings in the financial city will actively host it, and the number of preliminary matches will be close to 40.

Liang Bin, a judge of the competition and a tenor singer of the Shanghai Song and Dance Troupe, said. It is reported that in order to further enhance the professional level and authority of the competition, the organizing committee specially invited 5 professional mentors to join, who will accompany the contestants to participate in the entire competition.
"We understand the financial city as not only a place to work, but also a place to live, so we hope that the financial city has a temperature and cultural connotation." Yuan Yefeng, member of the party group and deputy director of the Lujiazui Administration Bureau, and secretary of the comprehensive party committee of the Lujiazui financial and trade zone, told reporters that many white-collar workers in Lujiazui have a good artistic foundation, and the competition provides a platform for their interests and hobbies to show, find like-minded partners, and have a stronger sense of identity with the financial city. ”
It is reported that the registration and competition work for the preliminary round of the competition are underway, and the contestants will go through multiple rounds of competition to show their musical talents and stage charm.
