Lin Huiyin was born in 1904 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Although he was born at the end of the old society, Lin Huiyin was never stained with the slightest breath of a woman in the old era, did not wrap his feet, and even wore a rather fashionable dress, and ideological education was completely in accordance with the education of the West at that time.

In April 1920, when 16-year-old Lin Huiyin traveled to Europe with his father Lin Changmin and lived in London, Lin Huiyin met a very interesting landlady, who had a cheerful personality. Seeing that Lin Hui was well-behaved and cute, he often brought it to his home to play. The landlady is an architect, so she often introduces her designs to Lin Huiyin and appreciates classic architecture.

Unexpectedly, under the influence of the landlady, Lin Huiyin gradually became interested in architecture, and even set an ambition to study architecture. This experience of traveling to Europe had a great impact on the young Lin Huiyin, including the love story of her and Xu Zhimo's youth, which also occurred during this period.

Compared with Xu Zhimo, who has been married, Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin are undoubtedly more suitable, they have similar family backgrounds, and they have the same hobbies and aspirations.

In June 1924, Lin Huiyin and Liang Sicheng, who were already engaged, went to the United States to study architecture at the same time, and the two entered the School of Fine Arts of the University of Westa together, spending four years of intense and pleasant study together, graduating in 1928, and officially married before graduation, and the husband and wife returned to China together.

Who knows, however, in a turbulent period of ten years. Some unscrupulous people even laid hands on the Babaoshan Martyrs' Cemetery, and even Lin Huiyin's tombstone was inexplicably smashed. What was wrong with Lin Huiyin? Just because her tombstone suddenly appeared in front of the eyes of the unscrupulous? Obstructing their eyes?

What is surprising is that after Lin Huiyin's tombstone was smashed, Lin Huiyin's children did not advocate restoration, because they believed that the mother's damaged tombstone could serve as a warning, warning future generations not to repeat the same mistakes, believing that this is also what Lin Huiyin is willing to see. Of course, later the tombstone was still repaired by people, and that unforgettable period of time has long been engraved into the memory of the nation, and will not be repeated.
