From beginning to end, make it thorough, upside down, and have nothing to read, so that you can't read a book. Now that I have read a sentence of "University", I have already said that I will go to "Zhongyong", so fragmented, confused with each other, and interconnected with each other, not only do I not know "University", nor do I have the ability to read "Zhongyong".

In his reply to Wu Bida's letter, Zhu Zi wrote: For example, when reading "University", it seems that there is no such thing as a book, concentrate on this book, study it word by word, and repeat it chapter by chapter, through the original meaning of the saints; read it repeatedly throughout the whole text, and look at the order of the whole article. Finally, let yourself go through the "University", so that the semantics are harmonious, backwards like a stream, rotten in the heart, see that there is no doubt, in order to read other books. If, just after reading a sentence of "University", you go to read "Zhongyong", so that it spreads out in an unorthodox manner, and both books confuse the dark taste and disturb each other, not only can not understand "University", but also do not have the energy to study "Zhongyong".

To read a book in any field, you must read several of the classics intensively, how to read it intensively? Word by word, it is repeated until it is well known and can be told to others.

It is also known that": "On", "Meng", "Zhongyong", wait for "University" to be consistent, there is no way to see the rear to see naijia. If you take advantage of the limit and have always looked at it, you will not look at it even though you see it. The near side felt that this illness was not a trivial matter, and the unknown knowledge of Yuan Lai Dao was not the work owed above, but the rootless foot of the Yuan below. If you believe, be down-to-earth early, and do so, your conscience will naturally remain, and your practice will be naturally skilled, not only in reading. Zhu Zi also wrote: "Analects", "Mencius", "Zhongyong", we must wait until the "University" is through, the semantics are harmonious, there is no doubt, and then go to see Fang Hao. If you read a book in a hurry, you have been following closely, although you have finished reading it, it is the same as not watching it. Recently, I felt that this problem is not a trivial matter, the original science can not be bright, not the upper hard work, in fact, the following can not stand. If you can believe my words and do it early and down-to-earth, your conscience will not be relaxed, and you will naturally be proficient in practicing the truth, not just reading books.

Most of us are ordinary people, reading slowly, and the books we have read must leave traces in the brain. Read too fast, ten lines at a glance, too far away from the phenom without leaving a picture, then reading is the same as not reading. It's better not to read and play something else. After all, reading is all about reading for yourself, and you don't have to make an effort to show it to others.
