The saints of the husband are also born of the righteousness of the gods. However, those who accumulate righteousness and righteousness are also human nature! The nature of mortals, Yao, Shun, and Jie, and Metatarsal, have one nature; the gentleman and the villain have one nature. Will the righteousness of etiquette be forged into a human nature evil now? However, there are Yu Guiyao, Yu, and Yu Guijun! Whoever is a noble and a gentleman can transform his nature, can be false, and give rise to righteousness. However, the saints are also born of the accumulation of righteousness and righteousness. From this point of view, however, the nature of the person who accumulates righteousness and righteousness is also human! Those who are inferior to the inferior and the little people, from their nature, go along with their feelings, and be at peace, so as to compete for greed. The nature of the deceased is evil, and the good is false. (Xunzi Sexual Evil Chapter 23, 13)
Some people ask: Accumulating human factors to formulate ritual righteousness is also human nature, so that saints can create ritual righteousness.
Xun Zi replied: This is not right. Potters stir and knead clay to produce pottery, is it the nature of potters to make clay into potters? Is it the nature of carpentry to cut wood to make utensils, and to make wood into utensils? For example, is it human nature for a saint to be a liturgical righteousness, just like a potter stirring and kneading clay to produce clay, accumulating human factors and formulating it into a ritual righteousness? The nature of all human beings, the Yao and Shun of the Holy Ming, and the cruel Andsagi and The Metatarsals, are the same; the nature of the gentleman and the villain is the same.
If it is human nature to accumulate human factors and formulate rituals and righteousness, why should we respect Yao, Yu, and gentlemen? Generally speaking, people should respect Yao, Yu, and Junzi because they can change their nature, they can make artificial efforts, and after human efforts are made, they produce ritual righteousness; in this case, the saints formulate ritual righteousness for accumulating human factors, just like potters stir and knead clay to produce pottery.
From this point of view, where is the nature of man to accumulate human factors and formulate ritual righteousness? The reason why people despise the squatters, the plantars, and the villains is because they indulge their nature, obey their lusts, and are accustomed to wanton debauchery, so that they commit atrocities of greed for wealth and profit. So the evil nature of human nature is obvious, and their good deeds are man-made.
