However, the Law of Benevolence and Righteousness has the principle of knowing what is possible, but the people of Tu also have the qualities that can know the righteousness of the Law of Benevolence and Righteousness, and all have the tools that can be righteous and righteous, but they can be Yu Mingyi.

Now the law of benevolence and righteousness is the unknowable and possible reason and evil? However, Wei Yu did not know the benevolence and righteousness of the Law, and could not be benevolent and righteous. Will the tu people have no ability to know the quality of benevolence and righteousness, and will there be no inherent evil that can be benevolent and righteous? The person who is now tu can use the quality of what can be known, the tool that can be able, the knowable principle and the possibility of the benevolence and righteousness of the benfu, but he can be Yu Mingyi. Now the people of Tu are devoted to learning, concentrating on one's own mind, pondering what is happening, and for a long time in Kari County, and accumulating goodness without stopping, then they are through the gods, and they are involved in the heavens and the earth. Someone asked Xunzi: Ordinary people can become people like Yu. How can this be explained?

Mencius also said: Everyone can be Yao Shun.

If it is true that the Law of Benevolence and Righteousness cannot be known or done in the first place, then even Yu cannot recognize and practice it. If ordinary people do not have the qualities to know the law of benevolence and righteousness, and if they do not have the conditions to achieve the degree of benevolence and righteousness, then ordinary people cannot understand the etiquette between father and son at home, and it is impossible to understand the norms between kings and subjects outside. This is not the case. Ordinary people can understand the etiquette between father and son at home, and can understand the norms between kings and subjects, and those who can understand the qualities of benevolence and righteousness and the conditions that can achieve the degree of benevolence and righteousness are obvious to ordinary people.

Now, if ordinary people are allowed to use the qualities of benevolence that they can understand and the conditions that can achieve benevolence, to grasp the benevolence that can be understood and can be done, it will be obvious that they can become Yu. Now, if ordinary people are persuaded of Taoism, take etiquette and righteousness as their own learning content, concentrate on it, think and explore carefully, and persevere day after day, accumulating good deeds without stopping, they will be able to reach the highest state of wisdom and match the heavens and the earth. So the saints are attained by ordinary people by accumulating good deeds.

Whether subjectively or objectively, everyone has the possibility of success. The key factor in this is accumulation. Without day-to-day persistence, long-term accumulation, and the ten thousand hours of deliberate practice now, even the smartest people will find it difficult to achieve great achievements.
