After the heroes of Jiangdong were useless, Pang Tong crossed the river to Jingzhou and defected to Liu Bei's tent. At this time, The Wolong and Fengchi in Mr. Shuijing's mouth, Liu Bei, all got it. After Liu Bei took Yizhou, the finances were very tight, and Liu Ba helped Liu Bei solve his financial problems by minting new coins. At the same time, Liu Ba, together with Zhuge Liang, Fazheng and others, formulated the Shu Ke, which laid a solid foundation for Liu Bei to govern Yizhou. When he returned, he was treated with great courtesy by Liu Bei, and Zhang Song was greatly moved. At the same time, Zhang Song realized that Liu Bei was the wise lord they were looking for, so he had the idea of helping Liu Bei enter Yizhou.
At that time, Liu Zhang was facing the threat of Zhang Lu in Hanzhong, and Zhang Song and Fazheng, in order to help Liu Bei capture Yizhou, persuaded Liu Zhang to invite Liu Bei to lead an army into Sichuan and use Liu Bei's strength to fight against Zhang Lu in Hanzhong. After Liu Bei led his troops into Sichuan, instead of attacking Zhang Lu, he provoked a dispute and met liu Zhang's soldiers. In a fit of rage, Liu Zhang killed Zhang Song, a traitor who ate inside and outside, but Fa Zheng fled to Liu Bei's command in advance.
After Liu Bei obtained Yizhou, he attached great importance to Fazheng and appointed him as Shang Shu Ling. Fa Zheng was also a top strategist, and together with Zhuge Liang and others, he formulated the Shu Ke. Most importantly, Fa Zheng advised Liu Bei and helped the veteran general Huang Zhong kill the famous Cao Wei general Xiahou Yuan at Dingjun Mountain.
