During the war, many revolutionary heroes emerged in China. One particular figure, a Vietnamese, was awarded the title in China in 1955 and became one of the rare generals of the two countries in the world. The man's name was Flood, his original name was Wu Yuanbo, and he was born into a landlord family in Hanoi, Vietnam. Because the family is relatively rich, when I was a child, I lived a relatively moist life, and I did not suffer hardships in the process of growing up. When he grew up, he went to France to study and was a high-level intellectual. He had a relatively good relationship with Ho Chi Minh, so he responded to his call and came to Guangdong, China, to join the Vietnamese Youth Revolutionary Comrades' Association.

In 1926, he was admitted to the Whampoa Military Academy and became a fourth student. During this period, he learned a lot of military knowledge and laid a good foundation for commanding operations in the future. On December 11, 1927, he participated in the Guangzhou Uprising with the leadership of the revolutionary organization, and after the defeat, he was forced to flee to Hong Kong with Nie Rongzhen and others.

He hoped that he would be like a flood, constantly running in the river of revolution and winning the final victory. In April 1930, he was transferred to the Red Twelfth Army. In October 1932, he was transferred to Ruijin, Jiangxi Province, and entered the Red Army School as the head of the propaganda section and political instructor. During his tenure, he founded the first drama company in the history of our army, the "Workers' and Peasants' Drama Society", and was responsible for many important tasks as president. After the start of the Long March, the flood has successfully participated as a member of the cadre regiment. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he mobilized the masses of the people in the Shanxi region and actively led everyone to resist the Japanese aggressors.

Later, he was transferred to the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Region by his superiors and served as the first president of the Anti-Enemy Newspaper. When Ho Chi Minh launched the August Revolution in Vietnam, floods left our country for Vietnamese support. In 1948, he was appointed major general by the Vietnamese side. Later, for some special reasons, he was ostracized by others.

Fearing that he would be harmed, Ho Chi Minh secretly sent him back to China. Our country attaches great importance to this outstanding revolutionary general, first letting him go to the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee as the head of the Vietnam Section, and then letting him go to the Nanjing Military Academy to study. In 1955, when the state conferred the title, flood was awarded the rank of major general of the People's Liberation Army by the state for his outstanding merits. Unfortunately, the revolutionary general returned to Vietnam in 1956 to recuperate because of stomach cancer. On October 21 of the same year, he died of illness at the age of 48.
