The hour hand was set back to 1937, the year in which the war of aggression against China broke out in full swing, and soon the Japanese army hit Shanxi, and Chen Yuying, a Wutai girl who was engaged in teaching, had no job and could only return to her hometown of Wutai Dongye Town to live idly.
As early as 1933, Chen Yuying, who was still studying at the Shanxi Provincial Girls' Normal School, joined the "Union of Social Scientists," a peripheral organization of the CPC, accepted revolutionary ideas, and not long after returning to his hometown, Yan'an sent comrades to mobilize the people in Dongye Town.

Soon after, Ho Chi Minh went to the Soviet Union, while Ng Returned to Vietnam to teach, while spreading revolutionary ideas and leading the student movement.
In 1924, Ho Chi Minh came to China as a translator for the Soviet adviser Borodin, and it happened that the Whampoa Military Academy was established, and Ho Chi Minh began to think of "borrowing the furnace of Whampoa to forge Vietnamese tinder".

In the Red Army, Flood always followed the Chairman, and had conflicts with Bogu, Zhang Guotao and others, but never changed his mind and selflessly contributed to the cause of the Chinese revolution.
In 1936, the flood troops collapsed, and the flood alone returned to Yan'an after a difficult time.

When he met Chen Yuying, Flood had already married once in his hometown of Vietnam, which was an "arranged marriage", and it was his parents who married his daughter-in-law in order to tie his heart.

In the spring of 1938, under the control of Chen Jiange's grandfather, the 30-year-old Flood and the 24-year-old Chen Jiange were happily married, because the first cross-border marriage in the local area was the first military marriage after the Long March of the Red Army, so the combination of the two was known as the "first marriage in the Eighth Route Army".
In October 1940, the 26-year-old Chen Jiange gave birth to a daughter in a storm, but at that time the Japanese army was arresting the Red Army everywhere, Chen Jiange and two female comrades fled around with their newborn daughters, hungry, tired, frightened, for more than two months, Chen Jiange and her lost husband Flood, the flood named his daughter "Storm".
At this time, Chen Jiange had been tossed to the bone, and his body did not slowly improve until a year later.
Like many revolutionary couples in that era, Flood and Chen Jiange were busy with the revolution and could only foster the "storm" in their hometown, but unfortunately, the "storm" got measles at the age of half a year, which caused pneumonia and unfortunately died.
In 1943, Flood and Chen Jiange came to Yan'an, where they gave birth to a second child, just in time for the large-scale production in Yan'an, so they named the child "Xiaofeng", and soon gave birth to a son, Chen Xiaoyue.
