On July 10, 1986, Li Sun died of illness at the age of 79. Four days later, Vietnam held a meeting to elect the Long March as the leader of the Viet Cong. The original name of the Long March was Deng Chun District, which arose because of the worship of the Long March of the Red Army of our country.
Long March is also a veteran Vietnamese leader, who served as the leader of the Viet Cong in the 1950s, but due to mistakes in his work, Lê Duần came to the fore.
After the Long March took office, he immediately corrected Li Sun's policy. In the face of Vietnam's various problems and the resentment of the people, half a year later, Vietnam held the Sixth National Congress, and the Long March decided to use this meeting to give an explanation to the Vietnamese people. And how to explain? Long March thought of a trick, that is, to admit mistakes and write a sincere review-style report. Later, some people said that the review of the Long March was similar to the ancient "edict of sin" in self-imposed.
Whether ancient or modern, it is difficult for a head of state to admit his mistake. If the misidentification is not good, it will play a counter-role. Therefore, when the Long March wrote this report, it took on most of the problems faced by the country, and even if it was the fault of the predecessor Li Sun, the Long March also had the courage to take responsibility.
Although the Long March made mistakes in the Vietnamese report, the Viet Cong meeting also had an important topic: the selection of a successor! Who will be the next Vietnamese leader, the Long March is no longer suitable, because he is the same age as Le Son, who was already 80 years old at the end of 1986.
