Assange's fiancée upsets with extradition ruling accuses Britain of acting as a US 'executioner'

Assange, founder of the WikiLeaks website

According to the British "Daily Mail" reported on the 12th, Stella Morris, the fiancée of julian Assange, the founder of the "WikiLeaks" website, recently accused that the United Kingdom played the role of "executioner" in the conspiracy of the United States to try to kill Assange.

Morris said, "The U.S. government conspired to kill him (Assange) and found a way to make it happen, which was to have Britain act as an executioner." In 2010, the WikiLeaks website exposed a large number of U.S. diplomatic cables and classified U.S. military documents linking the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, exposing U.S. military war crimes. Assange has been charged with U.S. espionage and improper use of computers. The U.S. side has been seeking Assange's extradition. Assange, 50, is currently being held in Belmarsh Prison in London. In January 2021, the Uk District Court rejected as an extradition request from the United States on the grounds that Assange had a higher risk of suicide after extradition. Assange suffered a stroke in prison in October, and Morris said the stroke caused as neurological damage and memory loss to Assange, "prison life has been catastrophic to his health".

On December 10, the Uk's High Court reversed its previous ruling after the U.S. side again filed another extradition request, allowing the U.S. to extradite. Morris protested, saying he would continue to appeal to the UK Supreme Court. This appeal needs to be admissible by a judge. Morris said of the British High Court's decision that "it is ironic and shocking that the United Kingdom allows foreign forces to manipulate itself". (Overseas Network Wang Xiaoyu)
