According to the Russian Television Station (RT) reported on the 14th, the Westminster District Court in London, England, ordered the extradition of an Afghan immigrant who crossed the border illegally from the United Kingdom, who was wanted by Austria for suspected rape and murder of a young girl.

At a hearing on Jan. 12, local time, District Judge Michael Snow told the Afghan migrant, Rasuili Zubaidullah, that he had rejected a legal challenge from Zubaidullah's lawyers, who must return to Austria within 17 days to stand trial. Zubaidullah is understood to have a week to appeal now, and before being extradited, he will be held in Wandsworth Prison in south London.
Zubaidullah's defence team believes that he should not be extradited to Austria at this time, as Austrian authorities have not formally charged him. However, the judge found this not enough to be a reason to allow him to stay in the UK.

On June 26, 2021, Zubaidullah and three other Afghan migrants allegedly drugged 13-year-old Leonie Walner in Vienna before luring her into the apartment of one of the suspects, where she was given more ecstasy before being gang-raped and strangled to death. The suspect then allegedly rolled up her body in a carpet and threw it into the street.
With the exception of Zubaidullah, all suspects were soon detained by the Austrian police and have remained in pretrial detention ever since. However, Zubaidullah fled Austria, reportedly first to the northern French city of Dunkirk, and then paid smugglers to help him board a ship that was illegally bound for Britain. On July 18 last year, he applied for asylum, allegedly providing a pseudonym to British border guard officers when the ship reached the kent coast. Subsequently, he was housed in a hotel in Whitechapel, East London.
However, the Austrian authorities have been tracking Zubaidullah and contacting their colleagues in the UK to inform them that Zubaidullah has arrived in the UK. On 29 July last year, the Vienna Prosecutor's Office issued an international arrest warrant against Zubaidullah, detaining him on the basis of an arrest warrant by officials of the British state's extradition service 11 days after he set foot on British territory.
