On May 18th, the District Committee and District Government sponsored and the District Bureau of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a series of activities to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Party, "Exploring the Civilization of The Blessed Land" Archaeological Excavation Review and Achievement Exhibition. Liu Xiaodong, deputy director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Institute of Archaeology, Zhang Fengli, deputy researcher of daqing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and director of the Municipal Museum, Lu Jinfeng, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, Zhang Fengqin, deputy director of the District People's Congress, Li Wenhe, vice chairman of the District CPPCC Committee, and responsible persons of relevant units in the urban area attended the meeting.

At the opening ceremony, Deputy District Governor Zhang Fengqin pointed out in his speech that Datong District has a rich historical and cultural heritage, and the archaeological excavation of nine sites is of landmark significance for Datong to excavate and explore Jinyuan culture and build a regional cultural brand in Datong. In recent years, the district party committee and district government have attached great importance to the development of cultural and cultural undertakings, increased capital investment, actively fought for projects, organized and held a seminar on Jinyuan culture, successfully implemented the archaeological excavation project of nine sites, and successfully promoted the Datong Historical Exhibition Hall to a national third-level museum. After the opening ceremony, the participants visited the exhibition panels of the archaeological excavations of the nine sites. The exhibition showcases the excavation process and excavated artifacts of the nine sites in the form of a plate exhibition, which lasts for one month from May 18 to June 18.

It is understood that in recent years, the district party committee and district government attach great importance to the excavation of Datong regional culture, from holding the Jinyuan cultural seminar, to building the Fudi Datong cultural brand and the archaeological excavation of nine sites, has been carried out for two years, has received strong support and help from the Provincial Archaeological Institute, the Department of Archaeology of Heida, the Municipal Cultural Relics Management Station and other relevant units, and has made phased progress. Nine sites have carried out two excavations, the excavation area of more than 1,000 square meters, a total of more than 800 pieces of pottery, porcelain, jade, iron, bone, wood, copper coins and other cultural relics have been unearthed. To a certain extent, understanding the position and role played in the life of human society in the Liaojin period is of milestone significance for excavating and exploring the regional Jinyuan culture and creating a regional cultural brand.
