Hoe jing villa, as the name suggests, should be related to the ploughing field, the couplet on both sides of the door "half an acre of yantian yu shu, a number of rafters of tile house lesson sangma" also confirms this, but this building used as another industry, annex, villa is not only the owner's leisure work, or a vocational training school more than a hundred years ago, is to learn farming, planting skills of the enlightenment theory and practical education place, now arranged as a "farm tool exhibition hall", but also to make the best use of it.
There is a couplet at the door, but it is not very clear, and if you look closely behind it, it was originally hung inside, which is the golden word in the house. The couplet is: half an acre of Yantian Yushu millet, counting rafters tile house lesson sangma.
Shanglian: Studying in this not very spacious "hoeing villa", once "learning and excellence", once the zhongju examination has become an official, there is everything, rice money and food, fine wine and food, high-ranking officials Houlu, everything. This is another way of saying that "books have their own golden houses, and books have their own Yan Ruyu".
Xialian: Reading in these inconspicuous "hoeing villas" belongs to mental labor; if this mental work is good (referring to reading and becoming an official), it is equivalent to engaging in physical labor like sangma.
For this "villa", everyone can't help but wonder, isn't the villa the patent of the rich people in the city today? Isn't it an imported product? Didn't the state prohibit the construction of single-family villas? How did it come to this remote countryside hundreds of years ago?
In fact, the villa originated in China, in ancient China has been, in ancient times called the other industry, the annex. Refers to the residence used to enjoy life outside the dwelling, which is the second dwelling rather than the first dwelling. Traced back to its source and use, the large ones have the imperial palace, the xiang's mansion (Peitian "Du Yan Mansion" counts as one), the small ones have rich merchants and magnates, the landlords and gentry's villas, manors, and so on. What should be explained here is that the Peitian people are pragmatic and not luxurious, and this "hoeing villa" is another way, but it is a former "vocational education college", which is a place of enlightenment theory and practical education for learning farming and planting skills.
The pebble paving at this gate is the standard of Peitian ancient houses. Different patterns, different minds. The door of the hoe-through villa seems to be just a semi-circle with no special pattern, which belongs to the simple type of mind. After all, this is just a model house, not for a family, so there is no way to refine the pattern.
Dukan Province, also known as "Shide Hall", according to the Peitian Family Tree. The Shide Tang Records record that it was built in the twenty-third year of Qing Guangxu (1897), after the death of Wu Changfeng, the Duke of Wuting, and his descendants built a "Tang Hall" for him, so it was also called "Wuting Gong Ancestral Hall". The reason why it was named "Du Yan Fu" was because Wu Bazhen, the third son of the Duke of Wuting, was transferred from Beijing to Qingzhou, Shandong Province in 1898 to serve as a garrison of the "Du Si Title", and in order to reflect the glory of the family, the words "Du Yan Fu" were engraved on the forehead of the outer gate. Du Yan refers to the general who leads the troops outside, and also refers to the military attaché with the rank of dusi. The "Dusi" of the Qing Dynasty, one level larger than the garrison, was the military attaché of zhengsipin. Dukan Province refers to the capital of The Capital.
The original building of Dulangfu was magnificent, one of the most important traditional residential buildings in Peitian, which was tragically destroyed by a fire in 1994, leaving only ruins and ruins. After burning the capital of The Imperial Palace, there appeared a "Yuanmingyuan of Peitian", which was the death of the Wuting Gong family, and even more the death of the entire Peitian.
Standing in front of the ruins, looking at the Songhe Yannian pattern made of stones on the ground in front of the courtyard, you can imagine how magnificent the original building of the Dukan Mansion was, but unfortunately, only this broken wall was left to posterity.
Dulangfu is not large, but it is the most ornate building in Peitian. The three-entry, three-bay courtyard, plus the one-sided horizontal house, is a building with a combined ancestral house, which is both a hall and a residence. The structural form is the same as other houses in Peitian, the materials are exquisite, the carved beams and paintings, the window gray sculpture, the stone gate building Huabiao, the construction is extremely fine, and it is very cultural. The surviving front courtyard is paved with various river pebbles, which are vividly displayed and praised by visitors.
Originally the most ornate building in Peitian Village, this house was requisitioned as the seat of the 15th district government of Changting County in 1951. After moving to Caofang in 1954, it became the office of Peitian Township. It was later used by the Peitian Brigade and the Peitian Medical Station, and then became the seat of the Peitian Village Committee. By the autumn of 1994, it was set on fire by the gangsters, and only the gate of the "Duran Mansion" and the dragon pattern hua watch remained, and it seemed that in grief and anger, the evil of the gangsters was angrily denounced, and people of insight all sighed, calling this ruin the "Yuanmingyuan of Peitian".
Stone gate building Huabiao, the construction is extremely fine, Peitian is unique.
What we see is the five-clawed dragon on the flagpole stone at the door, witnessing the nobility of the owner's identity. It is said that the dragons of the decorations of general residential buildings can only be three claws, and the five claws are to be approved by the emperor.
Warning Record of the Ruins of Du Yan Province: Du Yan Fu (都阃府) was the first place in the Qing Dynasty Guangxu Dynasty to guard the Imperial Guard of the Imperial Palace, the Garrison of Qingzhou, and the Wu Gong General Wu Bazhen Fudi. It was completed in the 23rd year of Guangxu (1897) and burned on October 15, 1994 (lunar calendar). Its former glory can be glimpsed from the only remaining dragon pattern watch, the dragon and phoenix gate tower, the white jade stele that condenses the painstaking efforts of four famous artists, and the rain flat pattern of deer and crane and spring. However, witnessing the destruction and desolation in front of them, all those who have blood will be filled with emotion: In the old China of darkness, wars are frequent, bandits are rampant, no matter how valuable they are, they are in danger of dying, and this ancient residence has been completed, although it is a blessing, in fact, it is a fluke.
