Event Description:

As the 2024 "National Science and Technology Workers Day" is approaching, the "2024 National Science and Technology Workers Day - Young Scholars Salon on Coal and Rock Dynamic Disaster Prevention and Control Theory and Technology" hosted by the Beijing Energy and Environment Society and the Chinese Energy Society, and convened by Professor Du Feng of China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) will be held online on May 17, 2024. The purpose of this event is to provide a platform for young scholars to exchange academic ideas and discuss the latest research results and development trends in the field of coal mine safety.

Associate Professor, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing).

Personal profile: Associate professor of China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in mine safety engineering, and was selected as the Young Talent Lifting Project of China Association for Science and Technology (2023) and the Young Talent Lifting Project of Beijing Association for Science and Technology (2022). In recent years, as the first author/corresponding author, he has published more than 40 academic papers in important journals such as Energy, Fuel, International Journal of Geomechanics-ASCE, and Journal of China Coal Society, authorized 8 national patents, and won 10 teaching and research awards at the provincial and ministerial level and industry association. He has presided over more than 20 vertical and horizontal projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China (general, youth, and key project sub-projects), and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and served as a young editorial board member, guest editor-in-chief and regular reviewer of many important academic journals.
