In order to further strengthen the organizational construction of the Communist Youth League, give full play to the role of uniting youth, uniting youth, and cultivating youth, on May 9, the Youth League Branch of Fengtai District Culture and Tourism Bureau held a general election meeting, Comrade Xie Qing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Bureau, and Comrade Wang Xiqiang of the Organization and Personnel Section attended the meeting, which was presided over by Comrade Liu Yi, secretary of the previous Youth League branch, and attended by all 13 Communist Youth League members.
The conference kicked off with the solemn "National Anthem", the meeting listened to the work report of the previous Youth League branch committee, voted and adopted the "Election Measures (Draft)" and the list of scrutineers and tellers, and elected 5 members of the new Youth League branch by secret ballot, and then the newly elected secretary of the Youth League branch Comrade Peng Xin made a statement.
At the meeting, Comrade Xie Qing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the bureau, put forward two hopes for the youth league members: First, they should actively perform their duties and practice excellent skills. In their daily work, young cadres should keep up with the pace of the party organization, actively perform their duties, forge ahead, work hard and study, improve their internal quality, temper their skills, and keep up with the faster and faster development of the times. Second, we must pay attention to the overall situation and bravely shoulder heavy burdens. We should consciously take the initiative to shoulder the heavy trust entrusted to us by leaders at all levels and the masses, give full play to our wisdom and talents in work practice, and better realize our own values and ideals.
In the next step, under the leadership of the Youth League Working Committee of the district organs and the Party Committee of the bureau, the Youth League Branch of the Bureau of Culture and Tourism will inherit the excellent style of the previous Youth League branches, keep up with the pace of the times, youth development, and practice and innovation, give full play to the role of the Youth League Branch as a youth leader, service provider and connector, and contribute to the youth power in making Fengtai cultural tourism brand bigger and stronger and promoting the cultural tourism industry.
