Luo Benjun, mayor of Xunyang City, announced the opening of the event, Yao Jing, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, presided over by Wu Jianzhong, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Niu Quanhong, member of the party group of the municipal government, and Jiang Libao, vice chairman of the CPPCC.
The opening ceremony was set in a sea of rape flowers on thousands of acres, and the wonderful dances "Blooming Flowers", "Fishing Dream Yuyang" and "Rape Flowers in Hometown" were staged in turn, and programs such as "Ode to Spring" and "Hundred Birds and Phoenix" were like dreams, giving a visual feast of fields to the visitors. The yellow rape flowers at the scene are swaying in the wind, like a golden ocean, which is beautiful. It has attracted many tourists to come for sightseeing, or take pictures, or stroll through the sea of flowers, and enjoy the infinite beauty of nature.
A tourist at the scene told reporters, "Today I drove with my family to Shuiquanping to watch the rape flower festival, the rape flowers are very pleasing to the eye, tonight we plan to stay in Renhekou for one night, taste the delicacies of Renhekou, and have a good day."
It is understood that this rape flower tourism series will last from March 31 to May 10, 2024. During the event, activities such as the exhibition and sale of characteristic tourism products, rape flower sea experience tour, national fitness, literary and artistic collection, and cultural volunteer services will be carried out one after another, so as to promote the creation of a national 4A-level scenic spot in Shuiquanping, and fully demonstrate the unique charm of agricultural products and tourism in Shuiquanping National Rural Tourism Key Village. It provides new channels for the development of local tourism, farmers' income and prosperity, and injects new vitality into rural revitalization.
