"The tourist service center construction project is the basic supporting facilities project of Wubao Stone City to create a 4A-level scenic spot, the whole project is divided into three parts: tourist distribution center, performing arts center and museum, and the main project is expected to be completed in October this year, and will be a window for Wubao to open up to the outside world and display local culture." Ding Peng, the person in charge of the construction project of Wubao Shicheng Tourist Service Center, said.
Wubao Stone City is known as "the first stone city in China", with a long architectural history and high cultural relics value, and has been identified as a national 3A-level tourist attraction. Last year, Wubao County invested 15 million yuan to repair the east city wall of Shicheng and some residential buildings, the Shicheng Tourist Service Center project started, the military culture experience project was put into operation, the scenic spot was more abundant, and the creation of Wubao Shicheng 4A-level tourist attraction has also been fully launched.
This year, in order to create a 4A-level tourist attraction, Wubao County also plans to comprehensively improve the management system and reception capacity of the scenic spot, refine the service content such as consultation and explanation, tourist rest, instruction and guidance, and welcome tourists from all over the world with a new look.
"At present, Wubao Stone City has developed various formats such as commercial streets and Qianfang Street and armor pavilions, and will focus on building three major sectors of military district, administrative district and commercial district around the tourism brand of military culture, including immersive experience, real-life script killing and eating, drinking and playing, which greatly enriches the business format of Shicheng and the tour needs of tourists." The comprehensive improvement of Wubao Stone City Scenic Area also confirms that Wubao County is exploring the high-quality development path of promoting the county's economic transformation and upgrading with the cultural tourism industry. In recent years, Wubao County has taken the creation of a demonstration county for all-for-one tourism as the starting point, and orderly promoted the infrastructure construction of the core scenic spot of "one culture, one martial arts, one river and one spring".
This year, in addition to speeding up the implementation of the creation and upgrading project of Wubao Stone City Scenic Area, Wubao County will also implement 8 cultural and tourism projects such as Henggou Hot Spring Homestay, Dongdu Scenic Area Construction, and Armor Processing and Production, and strive to receive more than 600,000 tourists within the year.
