In order to enhance the safety awareness of all teachers and students, learn to master the skills of escape and self-rescue, and comprehensively improve the emergency response ability of all teachers and students in the face of emergencies, Zengdu District Liangudun Junior High School held an emergency escape fire drill on the occasion of the "National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day".

The teacher first introduced the origin of the "Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day" and how to evacuate effectively in the face of disasters. Through the narration, the students knew that strong psychological quality, effective risk avoidance ability and timely rescue can reduce the losses caused by disasters, enhance their awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation in their learning, and realize the importance of correctly mastering escape skills.
As the siren sounded rapidly, at 2:30 p.m., an evacuation drill with the theme of "Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, You and I Walk Together" kicked off. All teachers and students are ready to take their places according to the school's drill plan.
In the process of fire drills, each class teacher class will emphasize the importance of escape action norms, and instruct students: in the face of fire and other sudden dangers, in unclear circumstances, to "cover the mouth and nose, cat waist, stick to the wall" to quickly find the escape exit, and personally demonstrate, students under the leadership of the class teachers, cover their mouths and noses with their sleeves, lower their bodies, and evacuate to safety in an orderly manner.

In the fire extinguishing practice exercise, teachers and students used fire extinguishers to quickly extinguish the initial fire in accordance with the operation process, and personally felt the process of dealing with sudden fires.
Finally, Deng Feng, vice president in charge of safety, summarized and commented on the drill and fire extinguishing practical activities, and achieved good results. At the same time, Principal Deng asked all class teachers to strengthen the safety education of students in various aspects such as anti-bullying, drowning prevention, traffic safety, etc., improve students' awareness of self-safety protection, and especially remind all students in the school to report to parents or teachers in time and seek help in case of danger or bad behavior.
