On January 25, the Rural Revitalization Workstation of Tsinghua University went to Gannan County, Heilongjiang Province to carry out a 12-day winter vacation social research activity.
According to reports, the workstation was established in October 2017 and is the first entity service platform for school-local cooperation and joint construction and sharing by Tsinghua University. As an open public welfare project with the theme of rural revitalization, the Rural Revitalization Workstation of Tsinghua University aims to further deepen the effectiveness of practical education by organizing the practice detachment of teachers and students to work closely with the local government, innovate a new mechanism of long-term cooperation between the school and the local government, and explore a new model for young students to help rural revitalization, so as to continue to "make blood" for rural revitalization.
The research team to Gannan County is composed of 17 students, respectively from Tsinghua University, Communication University of China, China Agricultural University, Northeastern University and other 8 universities, covering education, public affairs management, resources and environment, rural development and other majors, will mainly focus on the development of cultural tourism in Gannan County, e-commerce industry, rural construction and other aspects of practical activities.
"Gannan County is rich in products, fertile soil, rich cultural resources, and has great development potential. The members of the detachment are full of enthusiasm and look forward to gaining an in-depth understanding of the current situation of Gannan County through research and interviews, and at the same time giving full play to their own advantages to carry out industrial innovation and provide impetus for local economic development.
