Americans are beginning to miss Obama for his impeccable leadership and qualities during his eight years in office. During his tenure, there were no scandals, no public falls, or stammering.

In 1987, Obama was so bent on finding his roots that he quit his good job and embarked on an adventure to Nairobi, the Republic of Kenya.

The village of Cogero, which was his father's hometown, was a remote and mysterious place.

After more than four hours of bumpy driving, Mr. Obama found that he was missing a suitcase in his luggage, which he suspected had been stolen while he was dozing.

After a flurry of swearing, Obama had to put aside his suitcase for the time being and continue to walk on the dirt of Kenya towards the village of Kogro.

Upon arriving, Obama told the patriarch what had happened to him, and the patriarch was furious, not expecting anyone to dare to steal from their territory!

The next morning, while Obama was sitting on the hillside outside the village admiring the beautiful scenery, he suddenly saw several people with broken heads running in the direction of the patriarch's house, and after a while, the patriarch walked violently towards the outside of the village with a group of tribesmen armed with weapons.

Obama sensed something unusual and hurried to stop the patriarch to find out why.

It turned out that his suitcase was stolen by the people of the next village, and the two villages have always had a grudge, so this time there was a big fight, and finally under Obama's persuasion, the farce was stopped.

Not long after, Obama returned to the village with his suitcase, but he did not expect to be followed by several people from the next village.

When the incident happened, after Obama went to the next village, he first found the patriarch of the other party and apologized, and said that there would be no more land disputes in the future.

Since then, there has been no more fighting between the two villages.

Years later, when the residents of the village learned that the young man had become the president of the United States, they were extremely proud, and they often talked about the peaceful life that Obama had ushered in for the two villages when he returned to his hometown.

Malik Obama is Obama's older brother and his volunteer tour guide when he returns to Kenya, and the brother is very close to Obama, and the two have a deep relationship.

Malik was a heavy drinker, but due to his limited financial situation, he rarely had the opportunity to have a good drink, and Obama's arrival provided him with a great opportunity to drink, so they were together almost every day, whether for work or leisure.

One of Malik's most enjoyable moments was when he went into the woods with Obama after his farm work, each holding a bottle of wine, chatting and enjoying the beauty of life. In order not to get bored, his brother also taught him the popular local game of "stepping on the toes".

More often than not, however, Obama was with his grandmother, Sarah, and he remembers vividly the first scene he saw when he stepped into his grandmother's yard in the village of Cogro, with her head held high, leading a flock of chicks to forage under a mango tree.

Obama's first impression of his grandmother was that of "a black woman with a nice smile," and although Sara was only Obama's step-grandmother, he was very filial to her and always offered to help her harvest the crops and carry them home.

This trip home allowed Obama to get to know more African relatives, who were full of praise for his generosity.

In the blink of an eye, it was time for Obama to return to the United States, and although his relatives wanted him to stay longer, Obama boarded the plane without hesitation, knowing that this trip home was just an episode in his life, and he had more important things to do.
