EAC Certification: Certificate of Conformity to the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU TR)
The EAC Certificate of Conformity is an official certificate confirming the compliance of a product with all mandatory quality and safety requirements specified in the Technical Regulations.
The Certificate of Conformity to the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the EAEU TR Certificate, the Certificate of Conformity) is an official document confirming that the products comply with all mandatory quality and safety requirements established in the Technical Regulations.
An EAC Certificate of Conformity is required for the import of goods, as well as for use and circulation in the territory of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan).

Decision No. 293 of the Council of the Economic Commission for Eurasia of 25 December 2012 sets out the form and rules for the implementation of the certificate. "On the Uniform Format of EAC Certificates of Conformity and EAC Declaration of Conformity in Accordance with the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union and the Rules for Their Implementation".
The form and rules for issuing the Certificate of Conformity are established by the Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission No. 293 dated 25.12.2012 "On Uniform Forms of the Certificate of Conformity and the Declaration of Conformity to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union and the Rules for Their Execution".
The EAC Certificate of Conformity is in a special format, signed and stamped by the head of the certification body and the expert. The format of the EAC Certificate of Conformity contains a number of anti-counterfeiting protection measures: guilloché frame, holographic protective elements, miniature text, certificate number, serial number.
The certificate of conformity is drawn up on a special form, certified by the signature of the head and expert of the accredited body, and by the seal. The form of the Certificate contains several levels of protection against forgery: a guilloche frame, a holographic security element, microtext, a typographic number and a serial number of the form.
The technical regulations adopted before the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union are abbreviated as TR CU and TR EAEU after its establishment.
