On May 4, 2024, Pi Zhiyuan, Executive Director of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Working Committee, led a business delegation to visit the Tanzania Chinese Entrepreneur Association, and the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on further strengthening China-Tanzania economic and trade cooperation.
Pi Zhiyuan, executive director of the committee, and his entourage first visited the office of the Tanzania Chinese Entrepreneur Association and had a discussion and exchange with President Zhu Jinfeng. The two sides also conducted in-depth discussions on how to further link Chinese enterprises to invest in Tanzania, promote investment cooperation between China and Tanzania, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese businessmen. The two sides agreed to give full play to their respective advantages, strengthen policy communication, infrastructure connectivity and financial integration between China and Tanzania, and jointly promote high-quality economic and trade cooperation between China and Tanzania.
President Zhu Jin said that the Chinese Entrepreneur Association of Tanzania will work with the China-Africa Economic and Trade Working Committee to promote cooperation between Chinese and Tanzanian enterprises and make greater contributions to Tanzania's economic and social development.
