Xiuyu Port is composed of Xiuyu, Putou, Shimenao 3 operation areas and Fengting operation point, mainly developing LNG, bulk cargo and chemical transportation, with 7 deep-water berths of more than 10,000 tons, and is the country's first national seaport imported timber quarantine area, the country's first batch of imported grain designated ports and the largest ammonium sulfate distribution base on the southeast coast.
Relying on port resources and location advantages, Xiuyu District vigorously develops the port industry, explores a new model of port-industry integration development of "front port and back park", and creates a new engine for seaward development "blue".
The PA6 expansion project of Zhongjin Company was successfully put into operation, with a production capacity of 470,000 tons, which is one of the largest nylon polymerization plants in the world, and the second phase of the CPL project of Yongrong Technology was successfully put into operation, with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons, which is one of the largest bases for the production of caprolactam in a single factory in China. The first phase of the 3Trees High-tech Materials Comprehensive Industrial Park project completed the joint completion acceptance and was officially put into operation, building a leading high-end industrial coating production base in China. Fujian LNG terminal is a key national energy project and the first large-scale LNG project in mainland China to be fully independently introduced, received and managed. Last year, the output value of the port industry in Xiuyu District exceeded 40 billion yuan, an increase of 7 percent year-on-year, the port throughput exceeded 12.5 million tons, an increase of 18 percent, and the district completed an investment of 903 million yuan in port construction, completing 112.8 percent of the annual planned investment.
