On April 25, the completion and acceptance meeting of Rongfeng Reservoir Project in Changting County was held in Changting Water Company of Fujian Water Investment Group. Lan Hangsheng, deputy director of Longyan Water Conservancy Bureau, Yu Meihua, deputy county magistrate, municipal and county water conservancy bureaus, relevant units directly under the county, owner units, design, construction, supervision units and other responsible comrades and specially invited experts inspected and participated in the meeting.

Before the meeting, the participants inspected the construction and operation management of the Rongfeng Reservoir project on the spot, mainly checked the operation of the dam, the operation of the facilities and equipment in the corridor and the on-site situation of the 1#-4# auxiliary dam, etc., consulted the relevant construction and management documents in detail, and put forward suggestions and opinions on the spot.
It is reported that Rongfeng Reservoir is a water source project in the soil erosion area of Changting County, located in Rongfeng Village, Datong Town, about 14km away from Changting County. The hub mainly includes a main barrage dam, four auxiliary dams, tower layered water intakes, and water conveyance tunnels. It is also the first key water conservancy project cooperated by the Provincial Water Investment Group and Changting County, with a total investment of 272 million yuan, which is a water conservancy hub project with comprehensive benefits such as water supply, flood control, irrigation, and ecological environment improvement, and is also an important water-source project for the integration of urban and rural water supply in Changting County. The total storage capacity of the project is 11.8 million square meters, providing 50,000 tons/day of water source for Rongfeng Water Plant, and playing the function of "three supplies and one supplement", that is, supplying three towns of Datong Town, Cewu Town, and Hetian Town. Supplement the urban coverage to solve the problem of drinking water for more than 320,000 people, and at the same time can add 12,840 acres of irrigation area, restore 1,240 acres of irrigation protection, greatly improve the agricultural production conditions of the irrigation area, and further enhance the urban and rural water supply security capacity after the full completion and acceptance of the project, and promote the economic and social development of the county; At the same time, it practices the development concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", and also builds walking trails, embellished with pavilions, big trees and green plants, vigorously promotes water culture, and forms a pleasant water conservancy scenic spot.
