➡️ Although Guevara is an extraordinary achievement in Cuba, he is an Argentine by heart. Guevara was born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1928. At the age of four, his parents moved the family to the famous health resort of Haute-Gràcia in order to treat little Che's severe asthma.
When you come to this mountain town, you will find that there are more trees than houses, more houses than people, ponds and lakes, and the air is as fresh as if filtered by flowers and birds.
The street where Che Guevara's house is located is flanked by garden villas with separate courtyards, but the few barks of dogs that come out of the cold make it more peaceful. The colors of the exterior walls of the building are relatively simple and light, light green, light gray, milky white, which is very in line with the surrounding green meaning.
Guevara's home is also a detached villa, which shows that his family's living conditions are very good. The house was acquired by the government in 2000 and subsequently converted into a museum and opened to the public. The bedroom, living room, and kitchen in the house have been redesigned into exhibition rooms, presenting Che Guevara's life in its entirety through pictures and objects.
One of the most striking exhibits is a Norton Hercules II motorcycle, a black guy with big wheels, a low saddle that looks like he can carry a lot of things, and seems to be born for long trips.
One day in December 1951, Guevara, now 23, and Alvito, a leprosy doctor five years his senior, were researching itineraries in a café in the Argentine capital. Within four months, they plan to travel from Argentina, through Chile and Peru, and eventually to the northernmost tip of the South American continent. They promise each other: never give up until the dream comes true. Alvito suddenly touched Che Guevara's arm and pointed to a fat guy at the coffee table behind him, who had a newspaper spread out in front of him, but he was already sitting and dozing. Alvito whispered, "Do you want to live like that?" You shouldn't live like that. ”
Thus, a journey that would completely change Che Guevara's life officially began. This was also the beginning of the movie "Motorcycle Diaries".
